The Challenge
In 2009, seven of Oneupweb’s most talented digital marketing experts and CEO Lisa Wehr hit the road on the One for the Road: Operation Michigan Tour. Spawned by a passion to help fellow Michigan businesses get back on track, Oneupweb embarked on a road-trip around the state of Michigan in a vintage 1970's GMC motor home. Along the way, they made stops in the state’s largest business centers where they dished out online marketing consultations to businesses who wanted it—for FREE. The main objective of the campaign was to spread free, useful digital marketing advice to the Michigan businesses that needed it most, helping them find success in an increasingly digital and competitive market place. And along the way, lift Michigan’s spirits and ignite a "refusal to surrender to the recession" spark.
A resounding success, Oneupweb decided they wanted to reach more business owners, across the country—igniting the same enthusiasm for business success. And so, the Digital Road Show was born in April 2010.

Each month, Oneupweb CEO Lisa Wehr is joined by a fellow Oneupweb digital marketing expert to host an interactive discussion on the hottest marketing topics. From SEO to social media, web design to iPhone apps—Oneupweb picks the topic and the date each month and then connects with listeners across the globe to answer their digital marketing questions—for free. Reaching thousands of people, the Digital Road Show series has become one of Oneupweb's most popular resources for clients and prospects alike.
