Oneupweb Wins Four ADDY® Awards

Oneupweb’s creative shines, going four-for-four in the Mid-Michigan Advertising and Marketing Association’s 30th Annual ADDY® Competition.

(TRAVERSE CITY, MI) – Office survival items, toddies and tapas from around the world, an official Naughty List and a 30-foot dancing President Obama. It’s a collection of eclectic marketing items that spelled success for Traverse City’s Oneupweb, bringing home four ADDY® Awards from the Mid-Michigan Advertising and Marketing Association’s 30th Annual competition.

“With each one of these campaigns, I remember thinking ‘are people going to think we’re nuts?’,” laughs Oneupweb Founder and CEO Lisa Wehr.

Apparently, no one thought they were nuts, as these campaigns stood out from more than 132 entries to bring home one gold and three silver awards.

“I’m so honored to be given these awards. It was a tough, talented field of competitors,” says Wehr. “I think this speaks highly about our creative abilities and outside-the-box thinking that we provide to all of our clients, everyday.”

With over 60,000 entries annually, the ADDY® Awards are the world’s largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. The ADDY® Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative of all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association conducts the ADDY® Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.

The One for the Road cookbook, NaughtyListed.com microsite and Oneupweb vs. The Sign Thief viral campaign were honored with Silver ADDY® Awards. Oneupweb’s Office Survival Kit brought home gold for the online marketing company. All four will move on to the regional awards competition.
