Oneupweb’s One for the Road Tour to Kickoff in Traverse City
The official kickoff for Oneupweb’s state of Michigan road tour offering businesses free digital marketing advice will be held in their hometown.

(TRAVERSE CITY, MI) – There’s no place like home. And to Traverse City’s Oneupweb, that statement has never meant more than it does as they prepare for their state of Michigan road tour. The goal: to help Michigan businesses makeover their online marketing plans—for free.
“Michigan is our home. And that’s why we feel so compelled to do what we can to help fellow businesses survive and thrive during this tough economic time,” says Oneupweb CEO and Founder Lisa Wehr. “And what better place to kickoff our mission than our own hometown, Traverse City.”
So on Monday, August 17 at noon, Oneupweb will do just that. All area businesses, chamber members, residents and media are invited to attend the kickoff event at Oneupweb’s global headquarters, located at 13561 S. West Bayshore Drive in Traverse City.
“We are committed to continue to do work and operate in Michigan, and it’s our goal to help other businesses do the same,” explains Wehr. “We hope others will join us to work together to help our state and the people in it.”
As part of the One for the Road tour, Oneupweb will be visiting Ann Arbor, Lansing, Grand Rapids and Traverse City to provide free online marketing consultation services to Michigan businesses. Those who visit Oneupweb at one of the four stops will be given real help with search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (PPC), social media marketing, online media planning and placement, and a whole lot more.
“Our goal is to give a business owner advice they can take back to their office that day and turn into sales,” explains Wehr.

In an effort to unite Michigan businesses, Oneupweb will also be collecting business cards at the various stops to create a new, free Michigan Business Directory. The directory, Operation Michigan, will be posted online.
