I am a huge fan of Improv Everywhere. It’s my dream to someday being going about some menial task, only to have all of those around me break out in song and dance. But I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed in the latest stunt in New York’s Bryant Park:
It’s not that I don’t think the guy does a good job, but it’s the people’s reactions that bother me. I mean, what if he weren’t a professional skater, and was just some guy that got stranded on the ice like that? Would we all continue to laugh at him? Why didn’t someone go back out on the ice to help him? Is it really that funny when he falls down the first time? I guess I just fear that something like that will one day happen to me. If it does, I hope no one laughs. I hope someone comes back out on the ice to help me.
I give this video a Oneupweb: thumbs-down.
Don’t worry, I didn’t stay disappointed for all that long. Who could with this fantastic Michael Jackson impression?
Now that taxi driver has some skill! At first I thought he was lip syncing to the radio, but no, he really is singing Billy Jean. I have to give this a Oneupweb: thumbs-up!
What do you think of the ice skater and the Michael Jackson singer? Do you agree with my reviews? Let me know in the comments below.
