To steal the line from Justin Timberlake playing Sean Parker in “The Social Network “, “A millions dollars is cool, but you know what’s even cooler? A billion.” I would say, “A Wi-Fi internet connection is cool, but you know what’s even cooler? Mobile internet.” (This statement alone truly sums up my nerdyness.)
In fact, just this past weekend (on a very long road trip), I was able to tether my HTC EVO to my laptop and surf the internet from my Jeep traveling at 70 mph. I know, I should have been paying attention to the road. But I just recently discovered how amazing Reddit is, and it was much more interesting than the road. Kidding (well, not about Reddit)—my wife drove.
This kind of convenience is simply irresistible. More and more, people are using mobile broadband to surf the web. And apps right now are hot.
