One for the Road: We’re Hitting the Road

Posted on in Blog

We’re hitting the road! I can’t believe it! In a little more than one hour, speeches will be said, a ribbon will be cut and we’ll be on our way. First stop: Ann Arbor’s Gallup Park.

Well, really, the first stop will probably be a BK or MceeDee’s for some grub. Then we’ll head to Ann Arbor, check into our hotel, and prepare for the next day. But 11am tomorrow we will be in Gallup Park, offering free online marketing consultations to any business that stops by. And we’ll be there until 6pm, so if you’re in the area, stop in to say hello.

Okay, I have to admit, I’m a little nervous. There is a lot of coordination that is going into this trip, including the kickoff event which will be at noon today at our global headquarters. Slated to make appearances are Rep. Dan Scripps, Mayor Michael Estes and Traverse City Chamber President Dough Luciani. And we invited anyone in the area to stop by and help send us on our way. Please, don’t rain! I had a nightmare last night that we were all getting rained on. (I also had a nightmare that I and a few of my co-workers were truck drivers. Yeah, I have no idea.)

I will post videos and photos of the kickoff as soon as I have them – straight from my computer on the motor home to the world wide web. Stay tuned for more. And please, don’t forget to come out and visit us this week. We’ll see you on the road.
