I appreciate their validation process. It is great to know they take their site that serious in preventing abusive activities. But in the same token with the way some of these platforms these days are employing real time algorithm’s YouTube should solve this one a little more in real time as well.
Earlier this month Eli Pariser gave an insightful talk about the state of the web. If you haven’t seen this video yet, watch it. After watching this video, I sat back for a moment and digested the ideas presented. Without going into too much detail here are my thoughts.
Last week Google took away the power of content farms, like that time Odo from Star Trek Deep Space 9 had his shape changing abilities taken away for harming one of his own. Now I understand that, perhaps, this is a reference only Trekkies will understand. However, if you’re reading this blog, chances are you’re one of us.
