Position while at Oneupweb?

Marketing Intern

When were you at Oneupweb?

3(ish) Months in 2017

Describe your current position:

I’m a part of the Chaco Footwear marketing team and my position is focused on the ecommerce side of things. My day-to-day changes frequently as I am either pulling and analyzing data to create new strategies, working on collaborations, strategizing our paid ads across digital platforms, determining budgets for all paid media, or researching / learning about what’s new in the marketing world.

What’s one thing you learned at Oneupweb that you use daily?

There’s always time to expand your knowledge and learn something new. When you stop taking the time to research and absorb what you do not yet know in whatever area you choose, you won’t be as successful as you want to be. My first task of each day at Oneupweb was to read an article that taught me anything in the marketing world that I did not know or did not know enough about to feel it to be useful to me yet. You will never find yourself in a position of knowing too much.

Anything else you’d like to add about Oneupweb, Fernando or your current role?

This was my first marketing job in my career, and I had no clue what to expect or if I would even like it. I was very quiet and often too shy to share my thoughts and opinions, however, Oneupweb was that perfect first step for me and gave me the push to build confidence and share my ideas without fear that someone may not like it.

If you’re too afraid to tell your ideas to anyone, you will never know how much they may love them. Thank you to Fernando and the Oneupweb team for helping me grow so much in a short amount of time. You were a huge part of where I am now in life and in my career.
