Meet Jenna Starring, SEO and Content Marketing Specialist

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2020. After graduation, I began working in content writing for digital marketing agencies, focusing on local SEO and content for small and mid-size businesses across a wide range of industries. I’ve enjoyed getting to know these businesses and grown to love the work we do to bring their stories to life and help them achieve success.

What’s your average day like at Oneupweb?

Every day starts with at least two cups of coffee and a detailed to-do list! Each day is a unique mix of meetings with local franchisees, researching strategies, planning and crafting content, and collaborating with our amazing team to provide exceptional service to our clients.

What is your best trait, and how do you use it to help your colleagues and clients?

There’s nothing I dislike more than poor communication. I work diligently to clearly and proactively communicate with our clients. My attention to detail and inquisitive nature help me gather insights to share with clients and our team, allowing us to flag potential roadblocks early so we can tackle any project with confidence.

What do you like most about Oneupweb?

I love that we’re encouraged to keep learning at Oneupweb. We don’t say we’re industry professionals and sit on our laurels; we read and share articles, insights, and training materials to keep up with the industry’s constant evolution. We each bring unique insights into the various avenues of digital marketing, so we can collectively grow and lift each other up!

What do you do when you’re not at work?

When I’m not working, you’re still likely to find me glued to a screen, just playing a video game instead. I enjoy playing story-driven RPGs and multiplayer games with my friends. I also love reading fantasy novels, singing, crocheting, creative writing, lifting weights, going to music festivals and concerts, and cooking for my family.

What are life’s simple pleasures?

Cats, coffee, live music, and a really good story.
